Roosevelt Road Specialty announces today the appointment of Chris Smyth as Chief Underwriting Officer for Renaissance Specialty Insurance, its sports, leisure and entertainment insurance managing general underwriter, effective immediately.

Smyth has more than 19 years of experience underwriting specialty programs and holding increasingly responsible underwriting leadership roles throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating Cum Laude. He is also a licensed property and casualty agent.
